Why I Became a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator (and Coach)

Finding Brené Brown’s work was a turning point in my career and ultimately the reason I chose to strike out on my own. Brené’s book, The Gifts of Imperfection taught me that I could be “me-imperfect” by acknowledging the rough parts which was the key to becoming more truly myself. This allowed me to lean into vulnerability and be more courageous in work and in life.

This was such a big turning point, both personally and professionally, that I wanted to share this gift with other strong, driven women who are ready to experience true joy and happiness again—while also pursuing their big bold dreams.

“the only thing I know for sure after all of this research is that if you’re going to dare greatly, you’re going to get your ass kicked at some point. If you choose courage, you will absolutely know failure, disappointment, setback, even heartbreak. That’s why we call it courage. That’s why it’s so rare.”
